Ecclesiastes 9:5 NKJV - "For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten."
Matthew 25:46 NKJV - "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
Answer:
According to the Ecclesiastes 9:5, the dead person lost the senses along with the body. So, the dead know nothing. And also the dead cannot see and cannot keep the grudge and take revenge on any one. So, there is no partaking to the dead on the things, which are happening on the earth. Their names are also forgotten on the earth in their families after some period. I (an author) could not find the history of my forefathers except my father.
Some persons who belong to the royal families remember their forefathers up to few generations only but not forever. The one, who reached heaven with their good deeds, will get a new name by the Lord God. The names, which are christened in this world, are not acceptable in heaven.
According to the Matthew 25:46, the one, who sinned in this world, might escape from his punishment. The one, who did not sin in this world, may be subjected to the hard punishment. But, any sinner will not escape the judgment of his spirit in mid -sky, because the deeds, which we are doing in this world, are written in the book as dairy. So, no people will escape from the punishment.
So, only the body of a man can be dead and decayed, but the spirit, which is in the person, is not dead. There is no individual spirit in the birds and animals like humans. All animals and birds are part of God’s living spirit. So, there is no punishment or reward to them.
