Question 41 - Alone! The Lord God is holy!

Revelation 15:4 NKJV - "Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested."
Psalm 86:2 NKJV - "Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!"
Answer:
When a child misbehaved and the elders punished him, child says not to punish him and will set right his path. David ravished a woman, and murdered her husband, and became a terrible criminal in the view of humanity and divinity. Such person tore his clothes and did fasting by leaving his throne and repented. Even then, he was chased by his son and was subjected to many hard ships and again entered in the holy life by getting forgiveness in the proximity of Lord. He pleaded the Lord God as in 2 Samuel 12:31. Here after, David got his throne again and led a pious life. And he set right his way, so that he could earn a place in the heaven with his holy life.

According to the Revelation 15:4 the Lord God alone is holy. But, he has the nature of saving every one, who repented for his sins and trespasses. So, He is alone holy and the image of kindness. How much happiness that we get, when our child knows his fault and walks in the right way by repenting, the Lord God also expresses happiness in the same way. Refer Luke 15: 7-10. The Lord alone is holy. Each and every one born on this earth is a sinner, says the Holy Bible. For this reason, the Lord Jesus came to this world and sacrificed Himself for our sake to make us holy. So, the king David said in his Psalm 86:2, “Preserve my life, for I am holy”. If the Lord God does not preserve our life, we lose the protection in our life. The inner meaning in this is that the Lord alone is holy. But, we become holy, if the Lord preserves our life and also we need continuous protection from God to remain Holy.
