Answer:

The basic reason for everything is the Lord Jehovah. Satan is the one who got the authority from the Lord. The one who takes authority from Master can only be a servant. The deceitful servant can misuse his authority until he is caught by Master.  Master will punish him when time comes. It is written in the book of Job that the Satan was seated in the proximity of the Lord along with angels. And also he was seated equal to them. The one, whom the Lord addressed firstly, also was Satan. The Lord God Himself gave this equal respect to the Satan among other angels. Did we get victory over temptation? In which way, did we stand in divine test? To prove this, the Lord God tempted Christ through Satan as in Luke 4:6.
