James 1:13 NKJV - "Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone."
Genesis 22:1 KJV - "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am."
Answer:
The Lord God tempted Job through Satan, but He did not tempt the Job directly.
But, He gave permission to the Satan to tempt him. The Lord tested Abraham.
But, He did not do any harm to Abraham. If Isaac would have died, it is called as the temptation. Before Abraham offered Isaac to the Lord on the mount.
It looks as though, Abraham was tempted.
It is written in Genesis 22:1, Thereafter, Abraham took his son and went upon one mount.
The Lord God stopped the sacrifice, so it is only a test, but not the temptation.
If you think that it is a temptation, it is also good, but not any harm.
