Question 14 - Why did Jesus come?

Matthew 10:34 NKJV - ""Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword."
Luke 12:49-51 NKJV - ""I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! "But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! "Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division."
Acts 10:36 NKJV - ""The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ--He is Lord of all--"
Luke 2:14 NKJV - "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"
Romans 15:32-33 NKJV - "that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you. Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen."
Answer:
The Lord Jesus came to this world to burn the sin. He came to this world to establish the peace on the world by sacrificing His body for the sin. The eternal peace is given to the ones who believed in him.
His motive is to break the relationship between the sinners and righteous as in Psalms of David 97:7-9. The gospel of good news which was preached by Jesus caused a great fire among people. The unbelievers of Christ oppressed the believers of Christ. Stephen, other disciples of Jesus, martyrs were burnt by this fire.  Jesus, who understands the inner thoughts of men and their rejection, told that he did not come to bring peace on earth but a sword even though he preached peaceful good news.
