Question 25 - Did he touch the Ark of Covenant at Nachon or at Chidon?

An2 Samuel 6:6 NKJV - "And when they came to Nachon's threshing floor, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled."
1 Chronicles 13:9 NKJV - "And when they came to Chidon'sthreshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled."
Answer:
The place, in which the ripened crop was crushed by oxen and gathered the gains, is the threshing floor. There must be a road between these threshing floors. These two threshing floors would have been right and left to the path or road in which the ark of covenant was moving; or the threshing floor, which was called with master’s name, was called again by his son’s name after his death or even when he was alive. Likewise, the same threshing floor would have called by the second name. Commonly, even today also so many places or cities etc., have two names.

Ex:  Madras – Chennai city, Nellore – Simhapuri, India - Bharat
