Question 17 - Only to say the righteous words, but ……….?

Exodus 20:13 NKJV - ""You shall not murder."
Exodus 32:27 NKJV - "And he said to them, "Thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.”
Answer:
Matthew 5:38 NKJV - "…eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”, this is the covenant which was followed here in which the combat is held between righteousness and unrighteousness. At that time, the blood relations and moral relations are aloof from righteousness. Every unrighteous person is a sinner in the view of the Lord. Also the scripture says, Matthew 12:50 NKJV - "For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother".

Even now, when the father is a Judge or a Police Officer, if his son sinned and became a culprit, the statute will not accept blood relations, moral relations and kindness to let his son go without punishment. The proof for this is, Jesus said in Luke 14:26 NKJV - "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple."
